getting error on this point in above statement A/C's, kindly help me to fix this out.

Hi,

Try instead

=If([GL_Hierarchy Short Description2] = 'Profit & Loss A/C' & Chr(39) & 's', [GL_Hierarchy Short Description2])

The Chr(39) substitutes the ' character.
