Configuration Steps to “Open a PPT file in Qlikview Access point”

  1. Create folder on server and name it as Test.
  2. In IIS create a new Virtual Folder and point it to Test.
  3. 3. In QVW document at the button Properties->  Actions -> Add -> Open URL

URL to Http://servername/Test/documentname

  1. Add the MIME type for Power Point at Qlikview Web Server

MIME Type: .PPTX

Content: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.presentation

Mime Types QVS.JPG

  1. Save Document and publish it.

This is working as expected. and full filling my requirement

Thanks

What is the url are you trying to start ?

Maybe the path to the file does not exist, or the client doesn't have the permission to access it.
