Qlikview 12 - Showing images as dimensions

Hi everybody!

I recently started tests with Qlikview v12, testing my apps to decide about migration.

But I've stopped in a problem: I have images as dimension in straigth tables loaded from http address, and in WebView mode they don't appear! In v11 it works correctly.

I've tested this until last release (SR5)

I've searched for a resolution with image-problems, too.

Resolution

From QlikView 12.00, it has been decided that access to images should be restricted by default. The behavior may be changed via an 'Easter Egg' setting:

AllowGeneralAccessToImagesThroughURL=x, where x is one of the following values:

  0 = No access at all

  1 = Access through "http://" possible (default from now on)

  2 = Full access (same behavior as in 11.20)
