Webview shows empty browser on Desktop Edition

If I open a QlikView app which uses Webview with a doubleclick from the Explorer or from a web source like QlikCommunity it shows an empty browser screen with a message like "Navigation interrupted..".

This is not happen if I open the .qvw file from the QlikView file menu. So, at least a workaround here.

Hi Ralf,

Which version of QlikView are you running? I'm trying to reproduce the error creating a dummy document, using WebView and saving it, then going to the folder where it is stored and double clicking, and it opens just fine. I'm running QlikView 11 SR1 release 11282.

Ralf,

You know that if Windows is using the UAC you may require to run QlikView as Administrator. Might that be the issue here?

Hi Ralf,

this happens to me only when I have the box "Settings/Document Properties/Use WebView in Layout" selected.

Maybe you have this option selected.

Regard

Hi Sven,

yes, it only occurs with this setting. Thanks!
