Hi,

I have a resident table in qlickview, like that:

period       sales

201401     400

201402     430

....

...

201504    600

I want to know the utility of linest_m, Can I use it to obtain coeficients of linear regresion?

Cn you give me an example?

Another question: is it posible to make forecasting in Qlickview.

For example to predict the sales valur for next periods: 201505,201506, 201507 using the historival data.

In this example is R the tool for making predictions, not Qlickview, then I understand that in Qlickview is impossible.
