Loading from another QlikView

Hi all,

I have jsut tried to load 3 excel worksheets into my application, which resulted in allocated memory exceeded errors on my pivot tables.

I thought that i would maybe load these from another qlikview app instead.

What are my options. Is it pretty much a qvd thing? or is it possible to load from another qvw?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Regards,

Matt

Matt,
There is binary load exactly for this:
Binary yourfile.qvw

Note that you can only load from a single QVW this way, and this must be the very first statement in the script. I've used it once in the past as a shortcut when I didn't want to dump out a whole host of QVDs from another application. But in general, I think the answer is to use QVDs for the data. I'm not sure that will help resolve your original memory problem, though.

Maybe something is wrong or to heavy (to much dimensions or fields) with the pivot table. Is the load is working with an empty layout?
