Internal inconsistency, type D Detected

At client of our has recently upgraded from v10 to v 11, and now gets the above error when open a dashboard from a 32 bit clinet over a mapped drive to their 64 bit server.

Any ideas please!

We have logged it with support, who have replied as follows:

This problem normally happens when using a 32-bits environment an d the RAM memory is not enough. It doesn't help to add more RAM memory. What you need to do in order to solve the problem is to try on a 64-bits computer or reduce the application so that it consumes less RAM.

HOWEVER, the issue didn't exist prior to the upgrade to V11..
