Hello Qlik Bug,
Have been working with a straight table in QV 11.2 SR12 when I experienced the following.
In the straight table properties, when check the 'Horizonal' option, if there are no dimensions/expressions defined in the chart, or all expressions/dimensions are deactivated due to unfulfilled conditions, the entire QlikView session is force-closing. This means if multiple .QVW have been open in the same session, this action is closing all of them, and a hard-close (without saving document progress).
In addition, when there are no expressions/dimensions defined, attempting to navigate to the 'Presentation' tab of the chart properties seemed to "throw" the window focus off of QlikView (this didn't result in a hard close, but brought the next Windows application into focus and moved QlikView to the background).
Has anyone else experieced this, or can reproduce? Thanks very much.
~E
I can reproduce both behaviors in QV11 SR12, SR13 and QV12 IR.

Thanks for taking the time to confirm this Rob, appreciate you verifying. ~Evan
I've just tried this in 12.0.2 and there still seems to be something going on. If I create a straight chart and skip adding dimensions and expressions and click Next on the Sort screen the application hangs.
Trying to end the task in the Task Manager gives me a message that it can't end it as it's waiting for a response from me, which turns out to be do I want to save the open qvws. If I say Cancel I can go back to my app.
