Hi, I have straight and pivot tables using transparent background and white font color (sheet background is black). When I export the charts to excel, they carry the white font color to excel. How to ignore the font color and make it black when exporting? Thanks.
Maybe if you Export to SCV instead of exporting to Excel, the backgrounds won't be included?
cheers,

Thanks Oleg, that's a great suggestion. But since "Send to Excel" has an icon and it's so straight forward, I truly hope I can keep using it. Is there any setting can to done for "Send to Excel"? Thanks.
I understand... I tried to find something in User Preferences, but I didn't see anything that could suppress the backgrounds altogether. Unfortunately, it looks like you'll have to either put up with the background colors, or resort to a work around of one kind or another...
May be the work around would be,
Create two chart (All should be same except color)
Coloured one should be on top (Layout properties )
Uncheck the show caption in caption tab..(excel icon will not display )
The second chart should be on bottom with show caption check..
But , if your chart having performance issue, Avoid this..
