Inputting an excel table with multiple headers
Hi QC!
I am fairly new to Qlikview, and thought I knew what I was doing until I tried to input a table from Excel today. I have a complex excel table, with multiple levels of column headers (ie fiscal year, and then months) as well as the left column being all row headers. I cannot figure out how to import this into Qlikview without messing up the data structure. Ideally, all I want to do is create a line graph where I can show the various row headers and their values over the fiscal year (each having values for each month).
Any suggestions? Or is this not possible?
Thanks!

Hello. The load is possible. It is better to attach sample data.
The main point is table transposing and using crosstable function. I will explain step by step:
Step 1. Start with load file wizard
Step 2. Enable transformation step. Transpose table
Step 3. Fill empty cells with above values in columns 1-4
Step 4. Table view after filling
Step 5. Add labels and use crosstable
Step 6. Set crosstble params

In case you would like us to help and get you the results you wish please upload the excel spreadsheet. Besides that result do you expect?
Thank you

I have just read that, Transpose function is not recommended to be used in QS. Hence, could you please advise on how we achieve in transforming exactly the same excel data format in qliksense.
