Looking to add drill down functionality to link back to source enterprise system
Hello,
Does anybody know if Qlik can be configured to allow drilldown in Qlik to link back to a target document in an enterprise system? I configured similar functionality in Pentaho with my old company, where I could drill down back to a given insurance policy page in our enterprise software.
Thanks in advance!

So for simplification, our software is a repostiory of legal contracts. Lets say you have a bar graph where one of the bars represents just one contract. If you click the bar at that point, instead of filtering other visualizations on the sheet, I'd like it to take you to the homepage of that contract in our application (assuming I could send proper credentials with the request generated by my click). Does that make sense?

It's possible to load url's of documents into a table and make these url's work like hyperlinks so that when a user clicks on the link the document it refers to is opened in a browser. If the url's to the documents differ only in the contract number (or some other unique document identifier) then you can generate the url's too. See this discussion for example: Re: Open URL from within List Box of Qlikview document

I'm assuming you can mask the url with another display text?

Yes, see the example or the online help: Straight Table ‒ QlikView - the Link description in the Display Options section.
