help with crosstable or it may be a pivot table

I have an excel spreadsheet which shows employees, their targets, for each shift and then details what they do. example attached. My aim is to create a qlikview document to find out who meets their target any absences so I can transfer the work over. I'm not sure where to start. Help would be much appreciated.

I have attached spreadsheet.

Any questions please do not hestitate. thanks in advance.

Before starting to build your first application you need to do A LOT of reading. We will help you of course . What is your background? What do you know in terms of Business Intelligence?

Business intelligence allows the user to get an insight into the data from their systems. My background is more SQL and discoverer. I have created a few straight tables in qlikview but still not getting the jist of things.

what do i need to read?

couple of things as I observe from the spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet itself is some kind of report not in a classic table format.

Not all the cells are populated. due to missing cell values the calculated cells are not populated.

You have 18 Target fields per employee based on what logic or reference you find whether an employee has achieved target or not?
