Cleaning Log Files
I have just put the Governance dashboard in place, but I want to start with a clean slate of files. How do I clean out the log files? Where all do I need to clean out to have a total blank slate? I don't want to accidentily delete something that is needed.

If you just want to clean up Server / Publisher log files, remove all files under:
- For Server: C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer -> this is the default location. However, you might have installed it elsewhere.
- For Publisher: C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\TaskResults --> This will remove the last task result for each doc task in Publisher.
With Server path, you might leave the following files which are not scanned by the Dashboard:
- BorrowedCalData.pgo
- CalData.pgo
- Exit.log
- FUL.dat (if there)
- IniData.pgo
- Lef.txt
- ServerCounters.pgo
- Settings.ini
- TicketData.pgo
If you are just looking to start fresh with the Governance Dashboard (i.e., remove prior scan logs), remove all the files under:
- C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Governance_1.1\profiles\default\QVX_LastRun
- C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Governance_1.1\profiles\default\QVD_Historical
Once again, these are the default folder locations.
