Hosting a document so that I can work using QV client from my PC
Hi:
I am new at QV.
I have got a QV server and license from the server. What I will have to do:
1. Host an already created QVW file on that server.
2. Connect to that hosted document from my local PC.
What should be the steps?

You should copy your QVW to the Documents folder of the server.
Then you can use File / Open in Server from the menu of your QlikView Desktop and log into your server
qvp://<yourservername>
Then you access the document as a user - and you could give access to others to this document too. The benefit is that you will have all the power of your server when it comes to CPU, RAM and so forth not limited by what you have
on your PC. Of course sharing it with others could be a nice benefit too.

Hi Shafi,
if you have already leased a licence from the Server, I.e. you are not working in personal edition, then you can use file > open and just navigate to the directory that contains the qvw, providing you have NT access to the folder etc.
