Size of column in tablebox used in report depending on content length
Hi,
a clients has a report with various objects on it. One of them is a tablebox, containing also a column with a description text. This column is not always filled, but if it is, there is quite some text.
Is it possible to modify the size of the column depending on the length of its content? (not static in the properties but dynamic)
I think this is usually taken care of in the layout tab -> Size to Data being checked. Is this not working in your program. Maybe posting an example might help us to better assist you.
I attached a little example. There is a tablebox in the report and in the second column, there is sometimes nothing or little text and sometimes a lot of text. it would be great if neither the column has to be very big (looks stupid and wastes space if there is nothing inside) nor the text is cut if there is a lot.
