Qlikview isn't really a data warehousing tool, however you can (and should) use some of the concepts of data warehousing when dealing with large data sets.
For clarification, do you have 7TB of QVD's, or is that the size of your databases?
Yes, sort of. In addition to QVD's you may want to use QVW's as well as they offer the possibility to store entire data models (while QVD's just store single tables).and don't really need a user interface if their only purpose is to store data.
