How does the ceil and floor functions work on negative scale I meant to say if step interval is negative 

Ex:(1.1,-2)

Should be identical to Floor(1.1,2), I believe. Not sure why you'd want to do that, though.

Agree with @Or .  -step in ceil = +step in floor and vice versa.

I was already getting the results as you explained before I posted this query ...even I made my own perception that in limits if  the value is negative the lower and upper values are will be in contrast with the upper and lower values of the  positive ones ...so I thought ceil and floor are interchanging their roles when it comes to negative step interval ....but before concluding it to myself I wanted Someone to spare their opinions ..so thank you guys for your help
