how to use QMSEDX to run a task with a different user?
Hi, guys. I hope you all are fine.
I have a problem setting up EDX triggers.
When I use QMSEDX.exe (provided by the community), I get the following error:
Failed to create a client to the specified Uri, retries=2. Could not find endpoint element with name 'BasicHttpBinding_IQMS' and contract 'QMSAPI.IQMS' in the ServiceModel client configuration section. This might be because no configuration file was found for your application, or because no endpoint element matching this name could be found in the client element. Retry in 10s...
Failed to start the task because no QMS client was created.
Apparently the problem happened because the log-in user for backend service is different from the user that I logged-in with, and my user doesn't have access to reload task of qlikview. It is worth mentioning that I cannot log-in with the user which has access to reload tasks, I can just reload tasks by QMS.
now my question is how to use QMSEDX to run a task with a different user?
