Qlik Sense Storytelling filtering Criteria

Hi team,

While creating sheets with live embedded data, Qlik tends to save the original selections from when the live sheet was added to the stories. So every time you open that slide, Qlik ignores the current selections made in the dashboard and you will get the same original selections from when the live sheet was added.

Is there a way to export the data to PDF/PPT per current selections? That is, to ignore the first selections which were made while embedding a live sheet in the story and capture the latest filters.

Hi,

Thanks for the question. As you can see in this article, when you export, the story keeps the selections you apply to the snapshots or to the embedded sheets the first time you imported them:

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/How-are-Qlik-Sense-Stories-exported-to-PDF-and-PPT/ta-p/1792...

So it is not possible have a template of a story that can be changed just applying a filter to the date. You should recreate  the story to get different selections.
